Laura Dabbs serves as the State Authorization Compliance Coordinator for the UAB Division of eLearning and Professional Studies. She supports the University’s state authorization process and a broad range of regulatory activities related to ensuring ongoing compliance with NC-SARA requirements, state authorization standards, and certification and professional licensure disclosures.
Prior to joining the eLearning team, Laura worked for five years as the Program Coordinator for UAB Research Computing. Laura also has over a decade of experience teaching adult learners.
Laura has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Covenant College and a master’s degree in education from UAB.
