Brad Carpenter serves as an Instructional Design Specialist for the UAB Division of eLearning and Professional Studies. He provides instructional design support to UAB faculty and staff in developing academic and continuing education courses. Brad advises faculty in best practices for instructional design, online teaching, and integrating technology into online, face-to-face, and blended courses.
Prior to joining UAB, Brad taught English/Language Arts for 12 years in the public education system.
Brad has a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of South Alabama and a master’s degree in Secondary Education from the University of Montevallo.
